Behavioral Targeting

Behavioral Targeting is the latest Mantra of all the Advertising and Marketing Firms. The main agenda behind this is, why show products or Ads that the user or customer is not interetsed in?? !!

If we can provide something, which really user wants along with the related products which might interest him, can have a greater impact on the sales and which will ultimately lead to user loyalty. As the simple logic, when we find everything we need at one place, then why rush to different places??

Example -

Consider a Travel website, which does its online Advertising using a website. So really users generally browse places, Distance etc. What else will interests them is Airlines new Discount Packages, Hotels in that particular places Etc so Ads and information about them will be a hit-hit thing on the site.

Online Advertising on such websites is sure of yielding gold and lots of targetted customers.
