Advertiser : Advertiser is a website who sells products and services online through the web inventory provided by Publishers.
Publisher : An entity responsible for making the resource available. Examples of Publisher include a person, an organization, or a service. Typically, the name of a Publisher should be used to indicate the entity.
Affiliate Program : Affiliate marketing is an online advertising option in which Advertisers have a flexibility to pay publishers only for results. This “Pay-for-Performance” signifies the present day online advertising for advertisers of international repute.
Banner Ad : An animated advertising graphic placed on a site and linked to the website of an advertiser.
Impression : How many times a banner advertisement was displayed or viewed.
Click-Through : The action when a user clicks on a link and follows through to the merchant's web site.
Click-Through Ratio (CTR) : percentage of visitors who click-through on a link to visit the merchant's web site.
Cost Per Action (CPA) : The amount of cost for a conversion such as a sale or lead.
Cost Per Click (CPC) : Cost of an individual click when paying on a per click basis.
Cost Per Thousand (CPM) : The cost of 1000 banner impressions.
Cost Per Order (CPO): Same as CPA but refers specifically to sales.

Pay-Per-Click : A system where an advertiser pays an agreed amount for each click someone makes on a link leading to their website.
ROI : stands for 'Return on Investment'. Amount of profit made after investment costs and other costs have been recouped.
Customer Bounty : Pays the affiliate partner for every new customer that they direct to a merchant.
